It has certainly been an eventful first year for the Freight Lounge, we have been working hard to establish a solid base and in recent months the network has really taken off , We are receiving new applications on a weekly basis.
We are at + 60 members now and represented in over more than 30 countries already and we continue to work hard also in 2019 to establish global reach soonest by adding more and more High Quality Logistics forwarding companies.
We have also been very busy finding partners to our network and as you all know our Digital payment platform is now live and ready to use by the Freight forwarding community We encourage you all to register for this great platform, start paying your partners digitally and saving costs along the way.
Also in 2019 we will be searching for new and quality partnes with interesting services and tools to our industry , We are currently in discussions with a couple of insurance companies with the view to allowing our members to utilise an insurance program for shipments through our website. Further details to follow early 2019.
2019 also sees our inaugural AGM in Phuket , Thailand , February 24-27. We have a great few days planned for you to socialise and discuss business opportunities. The response to the AGM has been fantastic already and we are really pleased to see so many members commit to our first AGM, so if you still have interest to attend dont hesitate to sign up, dont miss out on this excellent opportunity to expand your business.
